Replica of an 18th century outfit of Claire Fraser from the first season of Outlander. This costume should be worn with period appropriate stays and bum roll to achieve the correct silhouette. The woollen jacket has front lacing. The stomacher is lightly dyed to appear more aged. Using a historical method, the woolen petticoat ties around the waist. This petticoat is very full (and heavy) and uses six metres of boiled wool. Here, the outfit was combined with a woolen shawl and arm warmers (which were not made by me). To further match the screen worn costume, this outfit can also be worn with an olive/moss green coat and ivory leather gloves (also not made by me).
